For your first taste of what Bon Jovi has to offer then `Crossroad’, like many best of’s, is probably the best place to start. Covering the bands career up to the `Keep the Faith’ album, this album has a good selection of tracks, as well as two new ones for this collection. You get all the bands well known hits from `Living on a Prayer’ and `Keep the Faith’ to `You Give Love a Bad Name’ and `Bad Medicine’, as well as one track from Jon Bon Jovi’s first solo project. Sadly a track from Sambora’s solo album was neglected, but I guess space on an album is tight. Putting this on in the car recently made me realise just how good this band could be and at their height they were a force to be reckoned with. You can’t help but sing along at full volume and I’m always in awe of Sambora’s guitar playing (check out his excellent solo albums). For that perfect slice of hard pop/light rock then this is a great place to go and this makes for one awesome collection of tracks, you get a taste of the softer and harder sides of Bon Jovi and makes you realise just how good they were.

Wow I have forgotten how many times I have listened to these tracks and even sung most of them on karaoke. Every song is amazing I never tire of any Bon Jovi track and I think I must have over 500 of their songs sung in all sorts of ways. Living on A Prayer is the classic anthem and what got me started but Always, Bed Of Roses,You Give Love a Bad Name shows just how versatile this band is and even now Lost Highway is still a perfect album. This album shows that Bon Jovi can sing any song any way and make it sound like a million dollars from Rock to Romance this hits every single note perfectly and every body should own at least one Bon Jovi album.

Downloaded this recently and damn glad i did ! Having bought this album many moons ago ( not gonna say how many ) and then having lost it somewhere along the line, i was pleasantly surprised to find this at the price. If you like this genre of music then you cant go wrong with this. Brought back many memories of days long since past.Livin on a prayer, Keep the faith, Always, Bed of roses, Wanted dead or alive, and the evergreen ” Runaway “, the list go’s on…. In short, if you liked Bon Jovi, Get it !!!

This album is simply amazing. Nothing gets you more pumped up for a night out than listening to hit after hit from the big man. I live in an apartment and on two occasions the neighbour downstairs had to call at my door to ask me to stop playing this album so loud. On the second occasion they fell asleep pushing the door bell for at least 5 minutes. To be fair it was 3 o’clock in the morning and I was pretty leathered!
Anyway, this album will bring out your air guitar playing, karaoke singing, head bashing best. A must-own…
